Welcome to the Phinally A Pharmacist Scholarship FAQ!
Here are the answers to common questions about eligibility, application requirements, and how our scholarships support student pharmacists on their journey to professional practice. Whether you’re a TSU student or pursuing pharmacy anywhere in the U.S., our goal is to provide guidance, encouragement, and financial support to help you achieve your pharmacy dreams.

Who can apply for Phinally A Pharmacist scholarships?
Eligibility varies by scholarship. Each award has specific criteria related to year in pharmacy school, GPA, enrollment status, and other requirements. Please review the eligibility section for each scholarship carefully before applying.

Are the scholarships limited to Texas Southern University students?
Some scholarships are specifically designated for Texas Southern University College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences students, while others are open to PharmD students nationwide. Scholarship descriptions will clearly indicate whether they are TSU-specific or national.
3.
Can Texas Southern University students apply for the national scholarship?
At this time, the national scholarship is open to student pharmacists enrolled in accredited PharmD programs in the United States, excluding students currently enrolled at Texas Southern University.
4.
Can I apply for more than one scholarship?
Yes. Applicants may apply for multiple Phinally A Pharmacist scholarships if they meet the eligibility requirements for each. However, only one scholarship will be awarded per applicant per cycle.
5.
What does “subscribed to Phinally A Pharmacist” mean?
Applicants must be subscribed to the Phinally A Pharmacist email list at the time of application and remain subscribed through the scholarship award date.

What materials are required to apply?
A completed application form including:

Incomplete applications will not be considered.
7.
How are scholarship recipients selected?
All scholarship applications are reviewed by a panel of qualified evaluators. Essays are scored using a standardized rubric that considers alignment with the scholarship’s mission, clarity, authenticity, and overall impact. Recipients are chosen based on these scores to ensure a fair, transparent, and consistent selection process.

When is the application deadline?
Unless otherwise stated, the application deadline for current scholarships is March 31, 2026.
Late submissions will not be accepted.
9.
When will recipients be notified?
Recipients will be notified via email within 4–6 weeks after the application deadline. Please ensure the email address provided is accurate and checked regularly.
10.
How will scholarship funds be distributed?
Scholarship funds are typically issued as a one-time monetary award. Distribution details will be shared directly with recipients upon selection and may require additional verification.
11.
Can previous scholarship recipients apply again?
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, previous recipients of a specific scholarship are not eligible to receive the same scholarship again.
12.
Is financial need required to apply?
Financial need is not always required unless stated in the scholarship description. However, applicants may discuss financial considerations in their essays if relevant.
13.
Will feedback be provided on my application?
Due to the volume of applications received, individual feedback cannot be provided.
